Our work on Hook Worlds is in full swing. The first mode is nearly complete and the second is underway. In the meantime here is a mockup to give an impression of what world 2 will look like, as well as some Hook Worlds concept art of Gramps and Zelle.

Quick HC-style tutorial

Here is a (hopefully) a self-explanatory tutorial for the process of making HookChamp-style sprites. Hook Champ currently uses 16x16 while the template shows the result with 18x18 pixel tiles. The sample picture is enlarged; click here for a PSD file for exact scaling.

Super QuickHook Lineup

In addition to the Hook Champ DLC portraits, here are the upcoming QuickHook characters immediately available at release. They are Jakob, Tara and the Hermit. One of them is related to Jake from HookChamp (can you guess who???).
