Hook Gunner & HW Concept Art
Our work on Hook Worlds is in full swing. The first mode is nearly complete and the second is underway. In the meantime here is a mockup to give an impression of what world 2 will look like, as well as some Hook Worlds concept art of Gramps and Zelle.

I'm really digging that screenshot up there. Can't wait for this to come out, I guess the wait gives me time to finally beat the final nightmare levels in Super QuickHook haha. Damn spikes.
Pirates definitaly didn't come to mins when you said "dungeon", but this seems like a better concept, because the ruins from SQH were practically that. You've definitaly eased my mind a little with this. So, are the different worlds unlockable by doing certain things in the game? And (this would be very hard to so within your expected release date) it would be cool if you could have online multiplayer, like have competitions to see who can survive the longest.
We were considering multiplayer, but I don't think it's the right game for it.
The different worlds are all playable right off the bat, except for the bonus world that we haven't shown yet. The bonus world will be available right away to early buyers that get the game in the first few days. Otherwise will be a very difficult unlock made available to everyone in the first update.
HalfLite: Oh, and yeah, we changed the concept of Zelle's world. We renamed it, too, it's called Hook Gunner right now.
Maybe not multiplayer, but ghost races would be awesome
Yeah, your right, it would be kind of odd having multiplayer in endless mode, because then you might need to wait for everyone to fail, and that could take awhile. Maybe a multiplayer in the top-down shooter, but it depends on what it's like, and if it is possible to have a multiplayer (might be a single player adventure style game). I still think that the bonus world is for Rocketcat, but if not, my second guess is that it's for Super Quackhook.
Silver Circle: We're trying something new instead of ghost races. If we can get it in, we're going to make it so you can run into ghosts of your friends when you play. They'll be floating around where they died, wearing their hat. You can run into them to make them explode.
HalfLite: We'd love to make a co-op multiplayer sort of thing. I don't think we'll fit it into the top-down shooter, though, because it's a singleplayer game and just 99 cents. The bonus world is kind of like Hook Champ if it was made for the Atari or C64.

Dangit, it is coming out today at 8 p.m. pacific time, but that means i need to wait for it to come out tomorrow, since I live on the east coast :'(
