Super QuickHook out Thursday, Fan Reward Thoughts

Super QuickHook will finally be ready for sale this Thursday, June 17th. Get it early for a discount ($1.99 instead of $2.99), and exclusive hats! After the early buyer's sale, we won't be having another sale.

We plan to do the "One Sale, on Release, No Further Sales" thing for each game, from now on. Not a big policy change, since Hook Champ only got two sales, ever, and both were near its release date. We think that the constant sales that are popular on the App Store really just end up punishing people that, say, pay full price when getting your game early. We want to reward our fans with a consistent Early Buy Discount, instead.

The "exclusive hats" thing is a fun experiment. If it goes smoothly, we'll probably do something like it again in the future. Not necessarily exclusive hats each game.

Also, above: another gnome wallpaper for your iPhone.

Yeah, I always considered the arbitrary sales a slap in the face to real fans.

Sometimes of you die enough on the very first level (the tutorial one) it will reset and you have to go through the tutorial as Jacob like you did before, and until then you can use the other chatacters there, or use the hook/boots before they are introduced

RocketCat,there's a new thread on secrets on TouchArcade, which you may want to add to your guides section of the SQH site :) http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=58374

Here is a list of all the bugs I have seen so far.
#1. My hook passes through solid walls and doesn't stick.
#2. When I'm trying to hook on a small wall I notice that the hook goes nowhere near where I touch.
#3. Sometimes when I use my rocket boots when moving slowly it will go the opposite direction I am moving.
#4. I've had times where I'm falling and I try to hook a ledge as I fall and my rope only travels half the distance it normally does so I can't reach the ledge.
#5. When trying to hook near a breakable wall my hook will attach to the breakable wall even when I clearly was aiming at the ceiling causing my hook to fall when it breaks making it hard to keep my speed and the rope taut.

Some of this may just be me raging that I lost and I'm just seeing them as bugs but it gets frustrating.
Anyways thank you for the game and your time :)

Josh: Send an email to the support address in iTunes. That's a new bug.

LimitForce: Not a bug, the popup explains it.

Phase II: The rocketboots one is a good catch. I haven't seen #1 or #4... will look into it. Breakable walls are a pain, it's easy to accidentally hit them if your hook gets too close. I use big sweeping swings to get through those, or the shop item that lets you break them at low speeds (such as just by walking through them).
